Two years ago today, we founded Opnova on April Fool's Day, and once again, we tip our hat to that fateful date. Last year we embraced the inner fool and the boundless optimism it takes to start something from nothing. This year, optimism has a different texture. It's earned. What began as conviction now stands on evidence.
Year one was about proving the idea could work. Year two was about proving it is repeatable.

None of this happened by accident. It happened because this team executes with unparalleled intensity and clarity. My co-founders Jose Luis Pereira, Tiago Melo, Pedro Saleiro, and our head of AI field engineering, Vladimir Balayan continue to set the standard: building, shipping, and leading from the front. Our GTM team, led by Ted Tabacco, has turned early traction into repeatable momentum.
Every enterprise runs on a long tail of applications, many of which were never built to connect with modern identity platforms. These disconnected applications create a blind spot in identity governance: organizations cannot manage who has access to what, across all of their systems, all of the time. The result is compliance gaps, security exposure, and operational risk that grows with every application added to the stack. Opnova eliminates that blind spot. Our agentic AI governs identity across disconnected applications by operating them the way a skilled human would, but with the consistency, speed, and auditability that governance demands. It is what our customers are running in production today.
